Congress Topless, 2014 Action during ARCO International Contemporary Art Fair.
Installation with sound and performers
The work Congress Topless is a performance installation carried out during the 2014 ARCO Fair, in which two dancers alternate five times a day to perform a striptease show. The installation, dominated by a pink lighted sign, is a reflection on the role of the political class and what the Congress has become. The work, drawing from irony and satire, shows how our representatives make decisions from another era and our leaders put ahead their own well-being to that of the citizen.
